Taman Ujung Karangasem Water Palace or often referred to as Taman Sukasada, one of the tourist attractions in East Bali with a unique historic architecture from the Karangasem Kingdom.
The architecture of the Karangasem king’s resting palace has its own uniqueness, due to the amalgamation of medieval European architecture and Balinese architecture.
The distinctive feature of European architecture can be seen from the presence of colorful glass, which is found on the walls of the king’s resting building, similar to the designs of churches in Europe.
From the window in the king’s resting room, you can see a pond with white and red Tujung / Lotus flowers.
The architecture of the Ujung Soekasada park is currently not like the original. This is due to various historical events that damaged the architecture of Ujung Soekasada Park. As in the events of the Japanese occupation of Bali. The iron fence is used as a weapon of war by the local community.
For those of you who want to bring food to the end of the park area, for now there is no prohibition from the officers. But please do not litter!
The best time to visit is in the morning, especially for visitors who want to do a pre-wedding photo session usually in the morning when the sun rises. Or in the evening at sunset.
For tourists who only want to visit all day is the best time to visit this tourist spot, but I suggest the morning will be better, considering that it is very far from Denpasar city.
